Internship Programs:
Both our international and domestic internship programs allow students to enhance their studies by offering real-world experience at internationally renowned media outlets. The majority of our internship programs are led by on-site faculty or program directors. Interns are able to earn journalism course credit as well as additional course credit in another discipline. Students pay MU tuition and a program fee that includes provision for housing. Short Term Programs: Short-term programs in the summer, mid-semester or winter intersession terms are a great opportunity for students who want to study abroad but do not want to miss a full semester . These faculty-led programs focus on media and journalism in international settings. Participants earn course credit and may also gain professional experience. Students pay MU tuition and a program fee for on-site housing that typically includes transportation costs. |
Exchange Programs:
Our exchange programs offer students the opportunity to immerse themselves into life as an international college student. Students can take classes at one of our international partner universities while earning up to nine hours of journalism elective credit and gaining additional course credit in other disciplines. Students pay MU tuition, but housing and meal costs are billed independently.
