How has your internship experience helped in other internship or job interviews?
It is an internship program in NYC so I got to know more about the city and the media industry. The internship (Qtalk Publishing) is a pleasant memory and indispensable part of my resume. I didn’t take formal interviews before the internship but I learned what media companies and the industry are looking for during those valuable visits, which would help with future internship and job interviews.
How did you choose your internship?
I wanted to stay on the strategic communication track, especially graphic design that I had been doing in my senior year for the internship to get more prepared and qualified career-wise.
What skills or insight did you gain from your internship?
I definitely learned more knowledge and skills of graphic design, and I managed to meet deadlines for a few projects. Working for a language education company, I got to know regular operations and the strain and uneasiness of small companies. There will be opportunities for success in this country if you are skillful and hardworking enough.
