Why did you choose the New York Program over other programs offered by the journalism school?
New York has a totally different media atmosphere from Columbia. I had a chance to take a media tour to many mainstream media outlets, such as CNN, The New York Times and so on.
What was your favorite thing about your internship?
I was interning at a documentary agency named Cinqua in Brooklyn. My supervisor took me to video shoot some big sports events, which was very cool.
Did you learn any new skills during your internship?
Yes! My supervisor is an Emmy nominated filmmaker, and he taught me a lot of creative editing skills.
