So what does Reims look like?
Who do our students meet and live with while they're studying in Reims?
The Missouri School of Journalism has a newly established undergraduate, English-speaking journalism program to offer students at Sciences Po in Reims, France. Students will live and study in a history city in the heart of the Champagne Region at one of France’s finest institutions of higher education.
Experience the French journalism system and culture through a variety of courses that will apply directly to your degree at MU. In addition, students are required to take a French language course while attending Sciences Po to help them further embrace the culture and all the program has to offer.
The Reims campus is located only 80 miles from Paris, making weekend trips easy and affordable. Between taking classes inside renovated historical landmarks, students may experience the French café culture surrounded by intricate statues and architecture. In addition to the many festivals, tours, museums, and public artworks, the metropolitan city of nearly 300,000 also contains a vibrant theatre community, with multiple operas and productions for visitors to attend.

MU attempts to make the costs of studying abroad affordable for you. Generally, study abroad experiences cost a bit more than a semester at MU. But time abroad includes new experiences, cultures, and languages that you are investing in, which often require expenditures on housing, flights, and other program related costs. It's highly recommended that you outline a budget for yourself of what you would spend during a semester here at MU and compare it to study abroad costs. Because this is an exchange program, you will pay MU educational fees (12 or 15 credits) as if you were here on campus for the semester. In addition, you will also pay an MU Study Abroad fee to cover MU orientation, ISIC card, administration, and assistance. Additional expenses to consider for this program include international airfare, personal transportation, insurance, on-site housing costs and other miscellaneous expenses.
